What can an FPV drone shot do?

FPV can follow a person or vehicle, move through a space or connect several locations in one continuous movement. David Basile custom-builds his FPV drones and selects the aircraft according to the space, subject and intended result.

Indoor FPV drone

An indoor route is assessed around the spaces, obstacles, people present, subject and filming conditions.

Outdoor FPV drone

Outdoors, FPV can follow an action and connect a detail with a wider scene. Speed and proximity are adjusted to the subject.

Plan a flight path that serves the edit

The entry point, main subject, key passages and exit are defined in advance. Variations can be planned for the production.

Where does DB Studio provide FPV filming?

DB Studio assesses FPV shoots in Luxembourg and in Moselle, including Thionville and Metz, as well as Grand Est, elsewhere in France, Europe and internationally, depending on the project.

Combine FPV with the film’s other footage

An FPV sequence can be delivered on its own or form part of an edit that includes stabilised drone footage and ground camera filming. Each setup meets a particular framing and movement need.

David Basile holds CATS and A1/A3, A2 and STS certificates or competencies. DB Studio holds professional insurance and prepares the procedures required for filming.
